Creative Writing Club: Our next meeting is today after school in Room 105 for a creative collaboration/celebration with the Art Club and Writing Workshop members. All are welcome! Pizza will be provided. Bring a dessert!
Rhinebeck's Creative Writing: class and club are excited to announce that we will be publishing our first literary magazine, Dead On Arrival. The magazine will include art, photography, poetry, and prose, and we want you to submit your work. All submissions are due by TODAY! Submissions can be turned in to Mr. Lackaye or Ms. Wheeler. Art is crucial and should be shared. Submit your work!
To all students: We will run an activity period on Thursday, May 4 in order to host a safe driving assembly.
More details to follow!Community Service: opportunity on May 13th at the Hudson Valley Marathon in Rhinebeck: We need volunteers to work at water stations and to cheer the runners on. Please sign up with Mrs. Hackett ASAP.
ATTENTION ALL PROM-GOERS! Prom Tickets will go on sale next Monday, May 1st and will be sold until May 10th. Please see Ms. Bathrick in the main office Periods 3,4,5, 9 and until 3:00. You will receive your Prom Promise at the time of purchase as well as a $40.00 discount card from Sossi Formals in Wappingers. Please return your signed Prom Promise by May 10th. If you are bringing an OUT OF DISTRICT guest, they must be registered with Dr. Davenport by May 10th. ALL TICKETS MUST BE PURCHASED BY MAY 10th! No tickets will be sold after May 10th. Tickets are priced at $65.00 if paying by check make payable to Rhinebeck Extra Classroom.
Junior Class of 2018 is currently selling flowers: for delivery just in time for Mother’s Day. Orders will be taken until May 5th with a May 11th pick up date; see order form for details. Available for purchase are a variety of hanging baskets, flats of flowers for planting, and 4 inch pots of geraniums. Look for order forms near the Greeters desk or in the main office. Flowers attract an abundance of beautiful and useful insects and birds as well as beautify your garden and deck.
Student Parking: If you wish to drive to school the remainder of the school year and for the 17-18 school year, you must have a valid parking tag and attend the Teen Driving program with a parent/guardian, if you have not already done so. See the flyers around school for upcoming program dates.
