4th Quarter/Final Grades Available Through Parent Portal for Students in Grades 6-12 Effective July 1, 2014
As the fourth quarter of the 2013-14 school year has closed, fourth quarter and final grade reports are available as of today, Tuesday, July 1, 2014.
As for the prior quarterly and interim reporting periods this year, we are providing to our parents the benefit of password-protected on-line access to your middle school or high school student’s grades, as well as interim reports and grade reports from earlier this year and from 2009-10 that are archived in SchoolTool, our student information database. We are making this available in an effort to improve our communications about student achievement, as well as to save taxpayer money on paper and postage and to make better use of our clerical resources.
In order to access the SchoolTool “parent portal” to view a child’s fourth quarter and final grade report, parents can log on to https://st-rb.mhric.org/rhinebeck/default.aspx . If accessing the SchoolTool “parent portal” for the first time, parents should follow the instructions provided on the web site or at the links in the following paragraph. As a reminder, parents must use the primary e-mail address that they have on file with the Rhinebeck Central School District. This will enable them to log in to SchoolTool to access their child’s fourth quarter and final grades. If parents have not done so already, they will need to set their own 8+ digit password for current and future access.
For those who need additional assistance, we have created a SchoolTool parent portal “screencast tutorial” for guidance through the process. This can be accessed either from a link at the bottom of the BMS web pagehttp://www.rhinebeckcsd.org/Bulkeley.cfm?subpage=344669 or from a link at the bottom of the RHS web pagehttp://www.rhinebeckcsd.org/Rhinebeck.cfm?subpage=344671 . If parents have any questions or problems using SchoolTool, they should contact their child’s building principal or guidance counselor so we can connect them with the necessary assistance.
Please note that we will be mailing a hard copy of a child’s final grade report by US mail only if the parent requested the office staff in their child’s school to do so. If parents still wish to receive a hard copy of their child’s interim report or grade report in the future, they should contact their child’s building principal with that request, either in writing or by e-mail (Bulkeley Middle School:
