"High School and Beyond: Exploring Graduation Requirements & the Elements of a Successful Transition," a Presentation for Parents of K-12 Special Needs Students, Tues, Nov 15, 2016 from 6-7 pm in the RHS Aud
On Tuesday, November 15th from 6:00 – 7:00 PM, in the Rhinebeck High School Auditorium, parents and caregivers students with disabilities are invited to attend a presentation entitled, High School and Beyond: Exploring Graduation Requirements and the Elements of a Successful Transition.
This workshop, presented by Emily Davison, the Director of Special Education in the Rhinebeck Central School District, will explore the most recent changes in graduation requirements for students with IEPs, identify resources to support students moving to adulthood and provide critical information about the transition process. Representatives from Acces-VR and OPWDD (Office of Persons with Developmental Disabilities) will be available to share information and resources. This evening is open to all families of students with disabilities in kindergarten through grade 12.
