Rhinebeck High School One of Two Dutchess County Schools to Make Newsweek's 2016 List of Top 500 High Schools in the United States
Rhinebeck High School joins Red Hook High School as the two high schools in Dutchess County that made Newsweek's list of the top 500 high schools this year.
Schools are ranked using both achievement information, like standardized test results, and also "college readiness indicators," like the number of counselors, SAT and ACT participation and performance, and advanced classes participation and performance.
Rhinebeck High School was ranked 388th nationally, with a graduation rate of 94 percent, 94.9 percent heading to college, and college readiness assessed at 75.1 percent. Red Hook High School ranked just above Rhinebeck High School at 350th nationally.
Congratulations to Rhinebeck-area students, staff, and supportive parents and community members and to our next door neighbors in the Red Hook area!
