District Provides Transportation Update for Friday, October 2
In an effort to keep parents updated as we fine-tune a number of aspects of our transportation program, we wanted to inform you that BMS/RHS buses arrived this morning between 7:15 am and 7:25 am, and CLS buses arrived on time this morning as well, with the exception of Bus #2 at each building. Bus #2 was driven by a substitute driver today and arrived ten to fifteen minutes late at BMS/RHS and at CLS. Also, all BMS/RHS buses arrived and departed from BMS/RHS on time this afternoon. However, Bus #2 departed CLS about fifteen minutes late this afternoon. All parents received an automated call informing them of Bus #2’s late departure status from CLS.
We have been working with our drivers on modifications to several routes to address a number of ongoing problems, together with our adding an additional route with a small bus to service several of our challenging back roads. However, we will not be making any changes until we’re certain that the route changes will work and until we inform parents of those students whose pick-ups and drop offs will be impacted.
We will continue to monitor feedback from parents on pick up and drop off times and address that feedback as soon as we are able. Parents with any specific questions, concerns, and/or complaints about their child’s transportation, specifically about their bus route or schedule, ongoing or new, now or in the future, should continue to call:
