District Officials Provide Transportation Program Update for Friday, September 25, 2015
All morning and afternoon bus runs to and from BMS/RHS and CLS arrived and departed on time today.
We also received word this afternoon that bus route #8 has a permanent driver who is scheduled start on Monday. This should help to stabilize and correct issues with this route.
In other good news, a small bus is being added to our fleet next week (exact date to be determined) that will travel the back roads and trouble spots in the District that are hard to traverse with a larger bus.
On Monday, we will begin the process of reviewing and assigning students to this new route which will relieve pressure on some of our other routes. Individual phone calls and letters will go out to the families affected by this change next week as to new pickup and drop off times, possible change of your bus route assignment, and the effective date of this change.
We will continue to keep you updated as promised until our transportation program is providing satisfactory service for all students and parents every day.
Parents with any specific questions, concerns, and/or complaints about their child’s transportation, specifically about their bus route or schedule, ongoing or new, now or in the future, should continue to call:
Mary Ann Coe, Allways East Contract Manager – (845) 204-9660
Sue McCormack, RCSD Transportation Clerk – (845) 871-5520 ext 5527

Also, contact Superintendent Joe Phelan at (845) 871-5520 ext 5522 or at email@example.com as needed. We will continue to keep you updated regarding our efforts to improve our transportation services every day.
