Facts About Chancellor Livingston Elementary School|
Welcome to Chancellor Livingston Elementary School, located in the historic village of Rhinebeck in Dutchess County, New York. Our school was built in 1967 and named after Robert R. Livingston, who was Chancellor of the State of New York, landlord of Clermont, and a diplomat.
Today our school has about 440 students in grades kindergarten through five. Chancellor is a school where students want to attend to learn. Our staff believes that every child will have an equal opportunity for a quality education and that all children can learn. The staff accepts the task of helping to develop responsible students. Besides our strong academic program we have many interesting opportunities to expand and extend student learning in the arts, in our after school activities, and through our enrichment program. Our children learn social skills to become responsible learners and participate in regular morning meetings as we build a community of learners at Chancellor Livingston Elementary School.
